CrossBridge is a diverse group of people who are learning to follow God in the way of Jesus. 
We love to laugh and sing and have fun. We are deeply in love with Jesus but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Jesus said that all the commandments come down to two things: loving God and loving others. So we do our best to major on the majors and let the minors slide.
Dress on Sundays is casual, though clothing of some kind is required. We take a break in the middle of our meetings so people can get a cup of coffee or another doughnut. (Sometimes we call this a smoke break. Gasp.)
We don't own a building or have a permanent location. We rent the cafeteria at Oakland Terrace Elementary School because we don't think that God wants us to spend a whole lot of money we don't have on a building that only gets used once a week. So we use whatever money is left over after paying the bills to help those in need.
Relationships are very important to us. So we meet together in homes and restaurants and coffee shops. We only have one public gathering each week so we can spend time with our families and friends. We believe that we are the church all the time, whether we are at church or not. 
We hope you will enjoy our site, and if you've not been to CrossBridge yet, we would love for you to come and see what's going on. It may be a different kind of church than you've experienced before.
